We Were There waxes nostalgic, both in the lyrics about an exceptional night and the 90s-riffic Matchbox20-style music. It harkens back to one of those summer evenings when everything is going right, even if it’s wrong, and you have to pinch yourself, literally, to remind yourself it wasn’t just a dream.

Three At Home supplements their energetic acoustic arrangement of piano and guitar with the bass, lead guitar, and production of George Woods and drums, Hammond B3, and engineering of Patrick Hanlin (Rebuilder, kid:nap:kin) with help from Mark MacDonald and Claire Mulvaney. The covers of the singles and of the collection were created by Virginia Gallino.
